The slope or angle of the sluice can be adjusted, by arranging rocks under the sluice Also the flow of water can be adjusted by placing a large rock in front of the intake end of the sluice, to divert some of the water around the box
Water speed / velocity, angle / pitch of the sluice box, amount of water / water depth in sluice Why would we LUMP all of this together? Because in a way, it all works together and has the same impact “across the board” on all riffles, boxes, and behaviors
